The Leftovers: The Final Season - April 16

The Leftovers has been a critical darling during its two-season run on HBO. Like many of the network's series, this one has amassed a pretty substantial following.

Since the show was based on a book, it wouldn't take much to get through the entire story. With that in mind, the third season will be the show's last.

More than three years ago, 2% of the world's population inexplicably vanished. 140 million people, gone in an instant. No country, no state, no city was spared, except for one small town in eastern Texas. Population: 9261. Departures: Zero.

Fargo: Year 3 - April 19

Each season of Fargo is different, rolling with the ever-popular anthology series method. However, this season is shaping up to be something to remember.

Ewan McGregor is playing both lead roles in the new season, and the early reviews have talked it up quite a bit.

Set in 2010, the third installment of Fargo centers on "Emmit" and his slightly younger brother "Ray Stussy" (Ewan McGregor). Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, sees himself as an American success story, whereas Ray is more of a cautionary tale. Forever living in his more successful brother's shadow, Ray is a balding and pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he's been dealt – and he blames his brother. Their sibling rivalry follows a twisted path that begins with petty theft but soon leads to murder, mobsters and cut-throat competitive bridge. Carrie Coon stars as "Gloria Burgle," the steady chief of the local police department. A newly divorced mother, Gloria is trying to understand the new world around her, where people connect more intimately with their phones than with the people around them. Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Ray's girlfriend, "Nikki Swango," a crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge. David Thewlis stars as "V.M. Vargas," a mysterious loner and true capitalist whose bosses plan to partner with Emmit, whether "The Parking Lot King" likes it or not.

Fargo hails from Executive Producers Noah Hawley (creator/showrunner/writer/director), Joel & Ethan Coen, Warren Littlefield and John Cameron. Fargo is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions, with MGM Television serving as the lead studio.

Silicon Valley Season 4 - April 23

Some consider Big Bang Theory to be the comedy all nerds have to see, but Silicon Valley could be taking the crown.

The hilarious ensemble has been crushing it over the past three years, and fans are continuing to jump on the band wagon.

SILICON VALLEY takes a comic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A collaboration between Mike Judge and Alec Berg, the show stars Thomas Middleditch, T.J. The Handmaid's Tale: Series Premiere - April 26

Heading into its series premiere on Hulu, The Handmaid's Tale has generated quite a lot of buzz.

The first three episodes of the Elizabeth Moss drama will air simultaneously on April 26, and the rest of the first season will be released on a weekly basis.

Set in a dystopian future, a woman is forced to live as a concubine under a fundamentalist theocratic dictatorship.

Dear White People - April 28

Based on the indie film of the same name, Dear White People debuted to great reviews at SXSW this year. All episodes will be available on April 28.

Set against the backdrop of a predominantly white Ivy League university where racial tensions bubble just below the surface, Dear White People is an hilarious send-up of "post-racial" America that weaves together the universal story of finding one's own identity and forging a wholly unique path. The satirical series -- which picks up where the acclaimed 2014 film by the same name left off – follows a group of Winchester University's students of color as they navigate a diverse landscape of social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof) and sometimes misguided activism in the millennial age. Through an absurdist lens, Dear White People utilizes biting irony, self-deprecation and sometimes brutal honesty to hold up a mirror to the issues plaguing society today, all the while leading with laughter.

American Gods: Series Premiere - April 30

Neil Gaiman's novel, American Gods, captured readers by proving just how attached to material possessions we actually are. The new series on Starz will bring the epic story to life, in a time when we need it most.

American Gods posits a different kind of war brewing—one between Old Gods and New. The traditional Old Gods, with mythological roots from around the world, fear irrelevance as their believers die off or are seduced by the money, technology, and celebrity offered by the New Gods. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is an ex-con who, left adrift by the recent death of his wife, becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to conman Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). But in truth, Mr. Wednesday is a powerful old deity, on a cross-country mission to build an army and reclaim his lost glory.

American Gods stars Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon; Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday; Emily Browning as Laura Moon and Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney.
