Game of Thrones Season 7 First Look Photos Released

Fans are more eager than ever to have HBO's Game of Thrones back for season 7 - especially since we are now getting into the time of year when the show is normally airing again. This season, however, production had to be delayed in order to shoot during the winter months, to create the prophesied winter season that we've been building to for years now - in both the HBO series, and creator George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" book series.

Now that 'winter is here' the characters of Game of Thrones are in for quite the fight; besides the skirmishes between the various regions of Westeros (King's Landing, Highgarden, The North), there is also the larger encroaching wars of fire (Daenerys Targaryen's army and her dragons), and ice (The Winter King's undead army approaching from North). Game of Thrones returns to HBO for its seventh season on July 16, 2017.
