Nikki Bella Taking Time Away After WrestleMania

Nikki Bella has become one of the preeminent babyfaces on the roster since her return last year, but the popular superstar might be rather scarce on WWE television after WrestleMania.

Bella is currently embroiled in a feud with Natalya, which the two will continue at Elimination Chamber later this month. According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet (via CageSideSeats), Bella will play out her current full-time schedule until WrestleMania, but then will be taking some time off to deal with nagging injuries.

According to sources with direct knowledge, Bella has been experiencing issues related to her neck injury, including numbness on one side of her body. When she returned to action at SummerSlam last year, she had only intended to work a part-time schedule, but has been a constant on Smackdown Live since returning.

After she takes some time to recuperate, those sources say she will work more of a part-time schedule to maximize her appearances and give her body a break. Her contract comes up around WrestleMania time, but the predominant feeling is that she will resign.

As for her WrestleMania appearance, there are rumors that it will be a tag style match with her and boyfriend John Cena in one corner against The Miz and Maryse, but those have not been confirmed by WWE as of yet.
