Everything Announced for NXT and AEW Dynamite's Sept. 23 Episodes

NXT and AEW Dynamite are back to running head-to-head on a weekly basis on Wednesday nights, and the two shows have already announced plenty of matches for their respective Sept. 23 shows. With the next NXT TakeOver show scheduled for Oct. 4, WWE's Black and Gold Brand will determine two No. 1 contender's this week with the first-ever five-man Gauntlet Eliminator match and an 11-woman over-the-top battle royal.

Meanwhile, AEW originally had a massive six-man tag match headlining this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. But after Lance Archer announced he had tested positive for COVID-19, Jon Moxley agreed to put his AEW World Championship on the line against Eddie Kingston instead. The episode will also feature the AEW in-ring debut of former WWE star Miro.
