Activision Announces Ghostbusters Ultimate Bundle

While much of the focus is on Paul Feig's upcoming Ghostbusters film reboot, Activision is also releasing a video game reboot of their own, and the company is introducing a new bundle for the hardcore Ghostbusters fans.

The new third person action-RPG will introduce four new characters to the franchise, but if you purchase the ultimate bundle you can deck them out in classic Ghostbusters gear. You'll also get a bonus trap which is also based on the original films. In addition to the in-game content, purchasers will receive a digital copy of the upcoming Ghostbusters film when it leaves theatres.

The package will also include two dashboard themes, with one based on the game and one based on the film. The bundle will cost $64.99 and will be available on July 12th for PS4 and Xbox One. The regular version of the game will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam for $49.99.

Ghostbusters will place you into the shoes of four new rookie recruits who must rid Manhattan of the paranormal onslaught that has invaded the city. The game includes a single-player campaign as well as local co-op for up to four players. You can view some screens of the upcoming game in the gallery.
