01/16/2016 05:35 pm EST
American Horror Story: Hotel, the fifth installment in Ryan Murphy's campy and creepy series, checked out this past week and plans are already coming together for the six installment.
FX Chief Executive John Landgraf told reporters (via TVLine) at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Saturday the upcoming season of American Horror Story will be "set in the present," however, "echoes of the past" will be sprinkled in. He added, "It's set in two time periods, but principally in the present."
Landgraf wanted to provide some more details, but "Ryan [Murphy] will kill me if I tease anything."
American Horror Story Season 6 will debut next fall.
