BOOM! Releasing New Collectible Power Rangers Masks

Power Rangers fans have a lot to be thankful for these days and in celebration of their comic success, BOOM! Studios is giving those a fans something new when they go into their local comic shops to buy the next issue.

BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands are releasing collectible masks exclusively to comic shops for the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11. The mask will be themed after the new Power Ranger that showed up in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #9. It's been quite some time since a new Power Ranger debuted, 23 years in fact, and BOOM! wanted to celebrate accordingly.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11 is being written by Kyle Higgins with art from Hendry Prasetya and a cover by Jamal Campbell. The mask itself was designed by Campbell with artwork from Prasetya. Comic shops will be able to order these in limited quantity, so if you want one make sure to let your local store know you're interested.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #11 continues the story of the mysterious new Ranger, as issue #10 was a side story that focused on the Blue Ranger. The series has consistently sold out for BOOM! Studios, and is riding the momentum train from the upcoming feature film reboot. The Power Rangers universe has never been more exciting, and you can check out the comic shop exclusive mask and the regular cover for issue #11 in the gallery.

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).

Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
