The first new toy of the live Star Wars: The Force Awakens unboxing event was just revealed live from Los Angeles, CA, as the hosts of the event tore open the box of Poe Dameron's X-Wing. The vehicle comes with a 3.75" Poe action figure (and is scaled to fit the character in nicely), and has BB-8 in the astromech slot (though he doesn't come out).

This is the first new toy unveiled on the 18 hour live broadcast that will show off figures, vehicles, and more centered around the newest film. The toys hit store shelves at Midnight local time Friday as part of a special "Force Friday" event. The first toy shown off, from Australia, was the build-your-own-lightsaber that was announced way back at Toy Fair NY in February 2015.

This is only the third officially revealed toy in The Force Awakens line, though many have leaked ahead of the event. A Black Series First Order Stormtrooper went on sale during Comic-Con San Diego 2015, and the BB-8 remote control rolling droid from Sphero was first teased as far back as Celebration Anaheim in April.

Poe's X-Wing Fighter retails at $49.99, and is recommended for ages 4 and up. The vehicle's S-foils open and close, and the Poe figure includes a blaster, holster, and removable helmet.

The unboxing live stream continues on Youtube from now until the final unboxing at 11am EDT Thursday.
