Last night on Saturday Night Live, longtime cast member Fred Armisen showed up to pay tribute to recording artist David Bowie, who passed away last week.
Armisen said that watching a Bowie performance on SNL had been a life-changing moment.
"David Bowie transformed whatever space he was in, whatever medium he was using, and that night for me, he changed live television," Armisen said.
You can check it out, along with the Bowie performance Armisen was referencing, below.
Bowie, a legendary entertainer, singer, songwriter, occasional actor and pop culture icon, died early Monday morning. He had been fighting cancer, which had largely been kept out of the public eye.
