iZombie Takes 20 Seconds From The Flash Next Week
04/10/2015 12:04 am EDT
Here's a head-scratcher: The CW earlier tonight revealed that The Flash will be shortened by 20 seconds on Tuesday night, with the additional time going to iZombie, the Vertigo adaptation that follows it.
That it's only 20 seconds is curious; we've seen one-minute or three-minute changes to the programming schedule before, but something as small as twenty seconds -- especially if it's given its own scheduling notification -- seems weird unless they're doing something special.
Perhaps, like The CW's other comics adaptations, iZombie will get an extended "rest of the season" trailer? Or might The CW make an announcement about Play It Again, Dick, the CW Seed series starring this week's iZombie guest star Ryan Hansen and produced by the iZombie showrunners?
Anyway, The Flash races back on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, while iZombie airs at...umm...8:59 p.m. and 40 seconds.
