Marvel Comics has revealed their first look at an upcoming variant cover to James Patterson's Max Ride: First Flight #1, featuring a special "Action Figure" theme by artist John Tyler Christopher.
On the cover, series star Max is "sealed" in a cover resembling an action figure, which we now hope will be a real thing someday.
James Patterson's Max Ride: First Flight #1 adapts novelist James Patterson's popular book series, where genetically modified teenager Max must escape the captivity of their evil creators. On the run with limited resources, Max and her fellow escapees Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel, must evade capture and from the "Erasers" while also fulfilling their destiny of saving the world.
Written by Marguerite Bennett and illustrated by Alex Sanchez, James Patterson's Max Ride: First Flight #1 hits comic shops on April 8.
Disclosure: ComicBook is owned by CBS Interactive, a division of Paramount. Sign up for Paramount+ by clicking here.
