Neill Blomkamp Teases The Larke

What is the Larke?

As of now, not that much. But at least we know he is wise…and that he is coming from famed District 9 and Chappie filmmaker Neill Blomkamp. Wearing a mechanical and furred mask, there's no telling who The Larke might be. Is he an alien? A robot? A bovine animorph? A strange man in a mask?

With Blomkamp set to helm the next Alien installment, it's possible that the figure is a brand-new extraterrestrial for the famed franchise. Or, The Larke could be tied to the upcoming sci-fi original, Leviathan, which Blomkamp is executive-producing. 

The mystery only deepened when The Larke displayed his apparent social media prowess later on. With his own official Instagram account, The Larke posted another (albeit similar) headshot of the horned figure, along with a new mystery character. The second character, sporting a helmet more similar to an astronaut's, also claimed to be the Larke. So, perhaps the Larke isn't one individual, but a much larger force or entity.
