New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Images Released

Square Enix has released new images form Rise of the Tomb Raider, the upcoming Xbox exclusive sequel to 2013's successful reboot of the Tomb Raider video game franchise.

Art director Brenoch Adams tells EW that the team at Crystal Dynamics is looking to send Lara Croft to "some of the most beautifully hostile environments on Earth."

"We are building awe-inspiring tombs littered with deadly traps, puzzles and ancient texts," Adams says.

A gameplay trailer for Rise of the Tomb Raider was revealed at E3 in June, and more will be revealed at this week's Comic-Con International: San Diego.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Nov. 10, 2015. Check out the new images in the gallery below.
