Peanuts Returning To Television
04/28/2016 07:07 pm EDT
The lovable Peanuts gang, along with their buddies Snoopy and Woodstock, are on their way back to TV.
The Charles Schulz creations are part of a new animated vignettes series debuting on Boomerang (via Variety). While there are new animators at the helm, that being Normaal Animation of France, the studio is aiming to retain the same feel of the classic animated films, such as A Charlie Brown Christmas.
The visual style will mix watercolor effects with textured backgrounds, and will feature all the fan favorite characters, including Peppermint Patty, Marcy, and of course Linus and his blanket.
The series is set to debut on May 9th.
