Adult Swim has renewed Rick & Morty for a third season, Deadline reports. The series is only three episodes into Season 2, but solid ratings for the premiere spurred the network towards a swift renewal.
Rick & Morty is an animated series created and executive produced by Community creator Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. The series follows the multiverse-spanning misadventures of Rick, a brilliant but sociopathic scientist, and his dimwitted grandon, Morty.
The series features the voices of Roiland as both lead characters. The series also features the voices of Sarah Chalke as Rick's daughter, Beth, Chris Parnell as son-in-law Jerry, and Spencer Grammer as granddaughter Summer.
Rick & Morty airs Sundays at 11:30 p.m. on Adult Swim.
