Riverdale Episode 7: In A Lonely Place Clips And Featurette

Three videos for tonight's "In A Lonely Place" episode of Riverdale have been released. The first is a featurette in which CamilaMendes and Marisol Nichols preview the clash between Veronica and her mother, and LiliReinhart and MädchenAmick preview the stressful search for Polly Cooper. The other two videos are clips from the episode, and they tackle both of the aforementioned subjects.

"Hermione forges Veronica signature, and she finds out about it, is super upset because she's prioritizing her relationship with Fred Andrews," Mendes explains in the featurette. "Veronica sets off to kind of manipulate her mother and piss her of in her own New York style. She adds, "They play games until one of them... Yeah, it's a good game of chess. Like a cobra and a mongoose dancing.

Nichols loves the way Hermione and Veronica deal with conflict. "Hermione takes a turn that is pretty harsh for a parent to do to a kid," she says. "In that turn, we get to see that Hermione is not always as clean-intentioned as we may have been led to believe.

When a major piece of evidence is mysteriously destroyed, new rumors begin to swirl as to who was really behind Jason's murder. Tensions build when Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) father returns to the fray and it's revealed that he and Fred (Luke Perry) have some unresolved issues between them. Meanwhile, Veronica (Camila Mendes) takes matters into her own hands after her fight with Hermione (Marisol Nichols). Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) approaches Betty (Lili Reinhart) with an unexpected proposal that leaves Betty torn. KJ Apa and Madchen Amick also star.
