Todd McFarlane told Gamer Fit Nation that the comic book superhero he created, Spawn, NetherRealm Studios was granted permission to use Spawn in their Mortal Kombat X video game.
When Mortal Kombat X arrives this April gamers could be playing with Spawn. McFarlane says there is a small window in which NetherRealm Studios can use the character. "I don't know if they're ever gonna use it. They just might squat on it," McFarlane added.
McFarlane discusses the matter at the 5 min mark.
