Supergirl Episode 5: Livewire Synopsis & Images Released

CBS has released a synopsis and two preview images for the fifth episode of Supergirl: "Livewire.

Kara's Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Danvers (Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a superhero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat and Supergirl.

Brit Morgan guest stars as Leslie Willis/Livewire and former Supergirl Helen Slater guest stars as Dr. Eliza Danvers, Kara's foster mother. Check out two preview images, featuring both guest stars, in our gallery below.

"Livewire" episode of Supergirl will air Monday, November 23 at 8:00 PM on CBS.
