Supergirl Ordered To Series At CBS

Supergirl has been picked up to series at CBS.
The series stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, who survived Krypton's destruction and ended up on Earth. At 24-years-old, and possessing the same powers as her cousin Superman, Kara decides to start living the superhero life.
The cast also includes Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Kara's foster sister Alex Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw.
Arrow and Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti is executive producing Supergirl for CBS, along with Andrew Kreisberg, Sarah Schechter, and Ali Adler.
