Supergirl Wraps Season 1 Production, Thanks Fans For Support

CBS met great success this year with their new DC Comic's based series Supergirl, and the cast and crew want to let you know just how much they appreciate the support.

Now that production on season 1 is official completed, some of the cast, including Melissa Benoist (Kara), Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy), Chyler Leigh (Alex), David Harewood (Hank), and Jeremy Jordan (Winslow) released a video on Facebook, thanking the fans for all their support of the series thus far, and also to remind fans that season 1 still has plenty of surprises left to come.

While an official confirmation of season 2 hasn't been made, the show successfully brought Kara and the Superman mythos back to television in a big way, so I'm guessing that an official green light isn't very far off.
