Attack On Titan Episode 29 Synopsis Sees The Titans Ambush

04/20/2017 10:59 pm EDT

Right now, Attack on Titan fans are still reeling from the implications of the show's most recent episode. The anime left fans wondering about Connie Springer and his village, prompting some to piece together one of Attack on Titan's most grisly secrets. However, the homecoming episode will soon be overshadowed when the show returns for its 29th episode.

The synopsis for Attack on Titan's next episode has been published on the anime's official website. You can read a translated take on the description of "Soldier" below:

"Connie, Reiner, the South team meet with Bertolt and the West team where Krista and Ymri are together for the night. They all decide to stay the night together at Uggard Castle. However, the guards noticed it was already surrounded by many giants around the castle. The 104th Division do not have their equipment for battle ready and temporarily evacuate into the tower, but it was a matter of time before the Titans break through. Reiner struggles alone to prevent the invasion of giants. What is this flash back memory which comes to his mind …?"

In the anime's next episode, it looks like the 104th will find themselves in a rather dangerous predicament. A slew of Titans will ambush them at night whilst the soldiers are bereft of their gear, leaving the monsters to have an open buffet. However, it looks like Reiner will be at the episode's center; The tough soldier will find himself pitted against Titans on his own, and the terrifying encounter will prompt him to have a flashback to his childhood.

The synopsis for Attack on Titan's new season can be read below:
