If you have been patiently awaiting the day Boruto: Naruto Next Generations introduced Sasuke, then get ready. It looks like the anime has plans to bring the Uchiha into its fold ASAP.

Last week, Boruto wrapped its ongoing 'Ghost' story arc and will head into a round of filler episodes before its long-awaited 'Naruto Gaiden' saga gets its start. The anime's 19th episode will kick off the manga-centric arc with "Uchiha Sarada," an episode centered around the girl's mysterious past. The episode's first synopsis has been made available online for fans, and you can check out it out below:

"Sarada misses her father Sasuke, who she has never met as far as she can remember it. Even if Sarada asks Sakura about him, she dodges her questions, so she ends up unintentionally taking a rebellious attitude. Meanwhile, she finds a picture of Sasuke with a woman wearing glasses."

Of course, fans will not be surprised to hear that Sasuke will be making his return to anime. The character is one of the pivotal leads in Naruto thanks to his rival status. Sasuke is the best friend of Naruto Uzumaki, and the pair have been at odds and on the same team for years now. By the end of Naruto: Shippuden, Sasuke had reconciled with Konoha after becoming a rogue ninja, but the Uchiha did not feel like he could stay in the village.

Now, it looks like Sasuke will make a long-awaited return to Naruto if not to Konoha itself.

If you are familiar with the Naruto Gaiden manga, then you can anticipate when the Uchiha will make his debut. The manga begins with Sarada questioning her mother about Sasuke like the episode synopsis above says, but it also weaves in and out with Sasuke's journey. The ninja is on his way home to Konoha when he encounters a strange boy who possesses the Sharingan. The episode puts a halt on Sasuke's journey home, but Sarada does eventually meet up with her father after she choose to sneak out of Konoha to find him.
