Dragon Ball fans, the time is nigh. If you have wanted to see a full-blooded female Saiyan pop into the anime, then Dragon Ball Super is finally about to grant your wish. In the past, mixed-Saiyans like Pan and Bra have been introduced to viewers, and even Goku's mother was briefly shown to fans. However, these female warriors have left a lot to be wanted, and fans have started to wonder if there is such as thing as a strong female Super Saiyan. Well, the answer to that question is yes, and Dragon Ball Super will soon introduce the heroine to viewers.

In the coming weeks, the anime will ramp up its 'Universal Survival' arc, and the show will introduce a yet-named female Super Saiyan. Fans caught a glimpse of the hulking figure in the teaser for the 'Universal Survival' arc, and her likeness with Broly was uncanny. Now, the creator of Dragon Ball has drawn an official character design for 'Female Broly' - and it has fans feeling a certain way.

In the image, fans can see that the female character has familiar hair. Her spiky locks are reminiscent to the hairdo Vegeta dons. In all, the concept art seems to depict the female fighter in her base state as she's dressed in a purple tube top and flowing pangs. The character also has silver wrist gauntlets on her arms, and her face has a similarly pointed shape like Cabba.

You can read up on the promo's translated description below thanks to Twitter user @ErrenVanDuine:

"Exclusive subject! A female Saiyan arrives!!
A new Saiyan has been confirmed for Dragon Ball Super!! Is she a Saiyan from the 6th or 7th Universe – which is it!? In any case, this time it's clear this character requires our full attention!!

A character sheet by Akira Toriyama-sensei is published!!!
She's supposed to be a Saiyan… however…
If you take a good look at her backside on the character sheet… even though she's a Saiyan, she has no tail!?

A new Saiyan also appears in the opening video!?
In the opening video, a female Saiyan has already appeared!!"

Of course, fans seem fairly convinced that the new Saiyan dons from Universe 6 given a previous demand from Champa. The God of Destruction demanded that Cabba recruit more Saiyans to fight in the Tournament of Power, and this unnamed warrior could be just what Champa ordered.

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
