Dragon Ball Super is no stranger to surprises, but fans are still learning to cope with the show's sudden changes. Last weekend, fans had enough to deal with when Goku and Jiren got to fight face-to-face. Soon enough, they'll be sent overboard again when a new fighter is brought to the show that's now being hyped by a familiar man.
Over on Twitter, fans were sent into a tizzy when a voice actor and director of Dragon Ball Super opened up about the surprise fighter. Toshio Yoshita, the man behind Yamcha's voice, took to the Internet to answer a question about episode 114 of Dragon Ball Super. So far, synopses for the episode have said "a new warrior" will appear, and Toshio had this to say on the matter:
"The new warrior's very strong and cool. Everyone will be excited about the birth."
So far, there's no word on who the new warrior will be, but fans have their own suspicions. You can read up on some of the top theories in the slides below:
Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami also airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
Jiren 2.0
It may be a long-shot, but fans do not want to sleep on Jiren - not even for a moment. The Universe 11 warrior was strong enough to best Goku in battle even when he went Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken. Fans are convinced the character will soon unveil a new form like most of Dragon Ball Z's greatest foes did, and it would surely leave the Tournament's remaining fighters stunned.
