Funimation Announces Attack On Titan Season 2 SimulDub

Spring has arrived, and with it comes flowers, allergies, and new anime. One of the biggest shows in the anime world, Attack On Titan, has finally returned for it's second season and is available in more ways to watch than ever before. Currently, the show is available to simulcast the same day as release in Japan on multiple streaming services, including Funimation. Today, Fuimation announced that there will be launching dubbed episodes of Attack On Titan this spring as well.

These new dubbed episodes are part of Funimation's new 'Simuldub' service, in which episodes will be released with an English Dub the same day they are released in Japan. The Attack On Titan Season 2 Simuldub will launch on April 23rd, 2017. Attack On Titan will not be the only SimulDub for this spring however, the service currently running the My Hero Academia Season 2 SimulDub and has many more Spring anime set to SimulDub in the near future as well.

Funimation describes Attack On Titan's second season as the following:

"Eren Jaeger swore to wipe out every, last remaining Titan, but in a battle for his life he wound up becoming the thing he hates most. With his new powers, he fights for humanity's freedom facing the monsters that threaten his home. After a bittersweet victory against the Female Titan, Eren finds no time to rest—a horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!"

There were five other series revealed to be scheduled for a simuldub release this spring as well...
