Ghost In The Shell To Preview Early IMAX Footage This Month

Ghost in the Shell fans, it looks like you will be able to see some of the anticipated film sooner than you thought. Next month, the live-action adaptation of Masamune Shirow's iconic story will come to life in theaters, but Paramount Pictures will let scores of fan test the movie beforehand. Thanks to IMAX, the studio will be previewing exclusive footage from the movie in select theaters across North America.
On February 28th, a handful of theaters will be showing footage of Ghost in the Shell at 7:00 p.m. local time. Fans who attend the screenings will also get a limited edition poster and a photo op in what's being called an "experiential" photo booth.
Sadly, the event is only taking place in a mere 14 theaters. You can check the locations below to see if you're able to make the trek:

Ghost in the Shell is directed by Rupert Sanders, from a screenplay written by Jonathan Herman and Jamie Moss. It stars Scarlett Johansson as The Major, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, Takeshi Kitano as Chief Daisuke Aramaki, Chin Han as Togusa, Michael Pitt as Kuze, and Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet.
