Earlier this week, the Adult Swim block confirmed it is making some changes to its programming. Toonami will be moving its time-slot to 11 p.m. EST rather than 11:30 p.m. EST. The shift up will make new Dragon Ball Super episodes go live on Saturdays starting at 11 p.m. while Dragon Ball Z Kai follows at 11:30. The change has been made to Toonami's online schedule, and it appears the anime will run like that permanently.

If you watch Dragon Ball Super as part of Adult Swim's block, then you also have some changes to navigate. The anime's new episodes will now air on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. EST rather than 8:00; A re-run of Dragon Ball Super's most recent episode will run at 8:00 p.m. to preface the anime's new premiere.

For now, there is no word on whether Dragon Ball Super will taking a break from Toonami once episode 27. Dragon Ball Super's dub will finish up its 'Resurrection of 'F'' storyline this week, and fans will learn afterward whether Cartoon Network plans to pause its programming to allow the English dub more time to tape episodes.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super's current saga can be read here: "According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
