In the image, fans can see plenty going on. The show, which is titled Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, will put an exciting twist on the anime's Duel Monsters game. The anime will pit players against each other in special virtual reality spaces which bring the cards to life like never before. Weekly Shonen Jump's visual for the new anime gives fans a hint at what Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS' tech-savvy aesthetic will look like.

Fujiki is shown wearing a sleek body suit that doubles as body armor. Laced with LED lighting, the hero looks very confident as he rides upon a levitating surf board. The character is also seen wearing a new version of a Duel Disk on his wrist. Fujiki also appears to have undergone a change of hair color in the anime's new virtual world; The magazine confirms the show's characters will get all-new looks when they enter into a duel with another player.

The image also gives fans a look at the show's ace Duel Monster. Rather than the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS will feature a creature called Decode Talker. The card features a similar color scheme to Yugi Muto's favorite Dark Magician, but Decode Talker has a more robotic style. The Duel Monster can also be seen wielding a massive sword, so fans can rest assured knowing Decode Talker can wipe out lots of life points in a single turn.
