If you are a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh!, then you are no stranger to Kazuki Takahashi's work. The Japanese artist is the man behind the ever-popular franchise. Having created Yu-Gi-Oh! back in 1996, Takahashi has gone on to make an entire trading card game surrounding his story and lent a hand to the franchise's various anime projects. Most recently, Yu-Gi-Oh! made a nostalgic comeback for fans when its latest feature film starred heroes like Yugi Muto. And, now, fans have learned Takahashi took a big interest in one part of the film.

For those of you who've seen The Dark Side of Dimensions, then you can say you have seen Takahashi's animation for yourself. The artist may traditionally keep his work to manga, but it seems the creator rose up for a challenge last year. Audiences now know Takahashi animated a short shot of The Dark Side of Dimensions, but they wouldn't have known otherwise.

Thanks to one Reddit user, fans can check out the shot in question here. The clip takes place during a Duel Monsters battle between Yugi and Seto Kaiba. The footage is a close-up shot of Yugi as the protagonist puts on his Duel Disk. The character can then be seen inserting his go-to card deck into the accessory, and he looks serious to the core.

Of course, this is not the only animation work Takahashi has done. The artist did another animated cut for Yu-Gi-Oh! when its 10th anniversary movie, Bonds Beyond Time, was released.

Here's the official synopsis for Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions:

"In Yu-Gi-Oh! THE DARK SIDE OF DIMENSIONS, the stakes have never been higher; the rivalries never as fierce; the risks never so great. One wrong move—one card short—and it's game over for good."
