Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions Clip Reunites Yugi & Friends

Are you ready to duel? Well, you better be. At the end of January, Yu-Gi-Oh! is set to make a comeback in the U.S. thanks to the release of a new movie. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions is slated to debut in theaters for a limited run on January 27, and it looks like the film will reunited Yugi Muto with some of his closest friends. A brand-new clip of the feature has been released in all its English dubbed glory, and it shows the gaming prodigy reunite with a few of his childhood buddies.

The clip begins with Yugi leaving his grandfather's place, but the boy does not get very far before the elder stops him.

"Well, I was wondering - I was wondering about Tea," Yugi's grandfather asks. The duo famously walked to school together when they were younger, and it seems as if the older man misses the cheerful girl. However, the question only brings a blush to Yugi's cheeks as he dodges the question.

"Only little kids do that," Yugi insists. The boy then goes running off and even greets a stray cat before Tea makes her entrance.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting," she says, and fans of the franchise can accept the apology if they'd like. It has been quite some time since Yugi and his original cast of friends were seen in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. A slew of anime series have been aired about the duelers, but Yugi's last sighting prior to The Dark Side of Dimensions was in 2010's Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time.

In Spring 2017, a brand-new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is also set to hit televisions thanks to TV Tokyo. The new series will follow a hero named Yūsaku Fujiki as he enters the dangerous world of Duel Monsters.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions will screen in U.S. theaters on January 27, 2017.
