Arrow Season 6 Premiere Photos Pit Black Canary Against Black Siren

The CW has released the official promotional photos for "Fallout," the season 6 premiere of Arrow.

Arrow is entering its sixth season, and little is known about the plot, which left off with an explosion that rocked the island of Lian Yu while nearly all of Oliver's supporting cast were there.

While some characters have been confirmed as returning in Season Six (notably Wild Dog and Black Canary, whose actors were upgraded to series regulars, and Deathstroke, whose name appears in the title of an upcoming episode), producers have been trying their best not to spoil ahead to who may have perished (or not) in the explosion.

These photos tell us a little bit -- they feature Oliver, William, and Raisa the maid (last seen in Arrow's first season, Raisa was implied to have been a key part of Oliver's life growing up since his parents were so wealthy and distracted).

We also get a look at Black Canary squaring off with Black Siren, who seems to have put together a group of lackeys to help her be a big player on her own, rather than a flunky like she was last season for Prometheus.

Arrow returns on Thursday, October 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, following the season premiere of Supernatural.
