Batman Slept With Superman's Mom

The entire principal cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice were guests on last night's episode of Conan, and host Conan O'Brien offered a theory about why Superman and Batman are fighting.

In the film Hollywoodland, Ben Affleck (coincidentally, playing Adventures of Superman star George Reeves) sleeps with Diane Lane, who plays Martha Kent in the DC Extended Universe. Conan thinks Superman must have found out that Batman slept his mom.

"We have a past," Lane said. "Everybody has a past."

Does Superman know? "I think so," said Henry Cavill. "Super-smell."

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is now playing in theaters.
