Batman v Superman Cinematographer Shares IMAX Test Photos

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's cinematographer is offering a peek behind the scenes into the process of bringing the film to IMAX.

Larry Fong tweeted out two test photos from the filming of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in IMAX. The photos involve a scene in which Lois Lane (Amy Adams) walks through the snow. The first photo shows the impressive size of IMAX film and the second shows the production team making use of the IMAX film camera.

For an epic film like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, IMAX seems almost necessary.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted in March 2016. The film was a followup to 2013's Man of Steel and was also the second film in the DC Extended Universe. The film introduced the DC Extended Universe versio of Batman as well as Wonder Woman and, in smaller roles, Justice League members The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. The heroes will comet ogether for the first time in Justice League in November 2017.
