Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has crossed the $200 million mark at the domestic box office
The film made $8.1 million on Wednesday, down 33 percent from Tuesday. That's the second highest box office total ever for a Wednesday in March (The Passion of the Christ holds the highest total).
It took Batman v Superman 6 days to cross the $200 million mark, and now has a domestic total now at $201.3 million. By comparison, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Jurassic World each managed to pass $200 million during their opening weekends in 2015.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in now playing in theaters.
