Bug: The Adventures of Forager Running Behind; Final Issues Delayed Until November

Bug!: The Adventures of Forager #5 and 6, the final two issues of the miniseries by Michael, Lee, and Laura Allred, will be delayed until the end of the year. Orders already placed through Diamond Comics Distributors have been marked cancelled, but will be resolicited at a later time.

The issue is scheduling, not sales. Bug! #3 shipped a week late in July, and August's Bug! #4 will instead ship the first week of September. The series will then take October off so the creative team can regain their footing.

"The title isn't cancelled," explained writer Lee Allred via Twitter. "Our schedule's just getting reshuffled is all. Bug! #5 will be out in November, #6 in December."

"I thrive on the groove of a monthly schedule, but sometimes life throws down an obstacle or two," added artist Michael Allred, saying that the team was "grateful for support and understanding."

Allred is also currently providing art on Marvel's acclaimed Silver Surfer series from writer Dan Slott, with #13 and #14 also recently delayed. Solicitation text suggested that Silver Surfer #14 may be the final issue in that series' run.

Green Arrow Annual #1 is similarly delayed. No word on exactly when that book will be resolicited.

This is it: part six of "The Domino Effect"! Chagra promised he wouldn't alter reality until Forager returned to New Genesis, but did anyone actually believe him? Seems our beloved Bug might have. Luckily he's got a savvy teddy bear and ghost girl around to keep him focused, or else he might fall apart like a house of cards!
