Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen. This fan art is going to make fans of The Scarlet Speedster and his arch nemesis Reverse-Flash all sorts of hyped for the DCEU's solo debut of The Flash, whenever that may be.

Thanks to our friend and fan art maestro BossLogic, we're getting a solid look at what fan-favorite actor Dan Steven's could look like as Thawne, Barry Allen's mortal enemy.

The fan art plays off of the movie poster for The Ticket (2016), a movie in which Stevens portrayed a character named James, the film's lead role.

Complete with Reverse-Flash's signature red eyes, the fan art comes complete with Thawne's yellow suit while "The Reverse" can be seen over the actor's face in a contemporary font.

Most recently, Stevens served as The Beast in Disney's live action adaptation of the classic animated movie Beauty and the Beast, one of Disney's highest grossing films of all time.

No stranger to the superhero genre, the English actor played David Haller in Noah Hawley's Legion television series for FX and is slated to reprise his role for a ten-episode second season slated to debut in February 2018.

Rising to prominence for his portrayal Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey, Stevens has quickly become one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood and would be sure to be a huge name Warner Brothers could add to their stable should he be cast opposite of Ezra Miller's Barry Allen in The Flash.

While an official announcement has yet to be made by Warner Brothers, rumors have circulated that the final script has been completed and approved after "many" drafts and rewrites. The script pulls from a popular Flash-based comic story arc — which has yet to be named — which may see the film renamed to The Scarlet Speedster.

As you wait for official word on the DCEU's first solo film featuring the Flash, you can see Miller's portrayal of Barry Allen as he joins up with Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) in this Fall's Justice League.
