The CW has released a quartet of images from the upcoming "Turncoat" episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. It airs next Tuesday and features the time-traveling superheroes heading to 1776 to rescue George Washington, the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army and future first president of the United States of America, from their former leader Rip Hunter, who has been brainwashed by the Legion of Doom.
The images show Amaya (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) wrapped in a blanket and warming herself by a campfire, Mick (Dominic Purcell) dressed as a patriotic soldier, a close-up of an inquisitive Stein (Victor Garber), as well as Rip (Arthur Darvill) dressed as a redcoat, holding a torch, and standing in front of two other members of the British army--who are tugging on ropes.
A GOOD FIGHT — When The Legends find a new Time Aberration they learn they must travel to the winter of 1776 to protect George Washington and the American Revolutionary War. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned, forcing Sara (Caity Lotz) to send out Nate (Nick Zano) and Amaya (Maisie-Richardson-Sellers) to help.
Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) who are busy protecting the incapacitated Waverider from their new enemy, are forced to step into roles that they don't think they are prepared for. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Arthur Darvill also star.
Alice Troughton directed the episode, written by Grainne Godfree & Matthew Maala.
