Ewen Bremner Reveals Wonder Woman Role Details

Fans are well aware of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor, but some of the other members of Diana's ragtag group are a bit more mysterious.

Ewen Bremner's character definitely fits that description, as he doesn't even have an official name yet. The actor did provide a few new pieces of context to his role in an interview with Digital Spy, specifically how he ends up in Wonder Woman's group.

"I play a character who's enlisted by Wonder Woman to help save the world as part of a small, unlikely band," he teased. "He's a shellshocked soldier who's been discharged from the war and is brought back to help on a secret mission."

The film is still a few months off, so hopefully, fans will learn more about the character soon, and what skillset he brings to the table aside from general combat skills. He'll need all of them if he's going to face the reported villain of the film, the God of War himself Ares.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is written by Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. The film stars Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Robin Wright (General Antiope), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta), David Thewlis, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis (Etta Candy), Danny Huston, Ewen Bremmer, Doutzen Kroes, Samantha Jo (Euboea), Florence Kasumba (Senator Acantha), Said Taghmaoui, Eleanor Matsuura (Epione), Emily Carey (Young Diana), and Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe).

The DCEU continues with Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without a release dates.
