Gotham: Fox Releases New Behind-the-Scenes Photo of Jerome

Ahead of his sure-to-be explosive and terrifying next episode, FOX is hyping up Jerome being front-and-center once more with a new behind-the-scenes look at Cameron Monaghan in character. While we've seen shots of him getting his extensive "face/mask" makeup applied and the visual effects it's taking to bring Jerome back to life, this shot gives us a look at Monaghan, as Jerome, with a smile on his face.

The twisted BTS shot features the shirtless Monaghan (Jerome has not been skipping ab day while dead, apparently) with his head turned to the side and his eyes not quite looking at the camera but not quite looking away, either. Really, you shouldn't stare at it too much because it's quite eerie when you focus on his face.

The upcoming episode of Gotham season 3, "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies," is the last one for several months. After this episode airs on Monday January 30, the show goes on an extended winter hiatus, while 24: Legacy takes its timeslot. It will return on April 24, 2017, with another eight episodes left of this season, subtitled "Mad City," and plenty of storylines to keep rocking. Having seen the winter finale; fans might need three months of time to process everything that happens. Take a look at the full behind-the-scenes shot below.

With Jerome (guest star Cameron Monaghan) on the loose with one target in mind, Bruce and Alfred's safety is compromised. Meanwhile, Gordon's uncle Frank (guest star James Remar) pays him a visit, and ‎Nygma and Penguin are forced to confront their issues face-to-face, with possible deadly consequences.
