It would probably be quite difficult to be friends with Harley Quinn and her beloved puddin the Joker for a variety of reasons, including the fact that wherever they happen to be, everyone's focus is on them.

Whether it's due to their constant mood swings (which there are many), or the fact that they're always trying to either rob someone, trap the Batman, or take over Gotham for themselves, and you've got a recipe for best friend low self-esteem.

The good news is you don't have to be their friend to enjoy the chaos they cause, thanks to the delightful artwork of Abe Lopez. Lopez captures the fun side of their screwball relationship brilliantly in a variety of situations, including their stroll through a theme park (not exactly a magical experience for the rest of the guests), a public works announcement (should they be advising anyone?), or one of their unfortunate arguments (Mr. J knew to leave the seat up this time).

Lopez's characters are so expressive and bright, even when dealing with edgier characters. It's that juxtaposition that makes his artwork so good, and you can view a few examples of it in the gallery.

Most of his art is available in print form, which you can find at his Etsy shop. You can also keep up with his work on Facebook and Deviant Art.
