Jai Courtney Lost A Bet With Margot Robbie During Suicide Squad

The comradery on the Suicide Squad set was talked about a great deal during the press tour, and now that the film has hit Blu-ray and DVD, even more stories are making their way out, including a bet between two of the actors.

Jai Courtney, who played the rambunctious Captain Boomerang in the film, recently appeared on Conan. During his appearance, the topic of a sports bet between him and Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie came up, where fans learned that Robbie keeps a rather odd item with her at all times.

"We had a bet about a Rugby game. It's like an age-old rivalry, the state where I'm from, New South Wales plays the state where she's from Queensland, and yeah I think I foolishly suggested that whoever came out on top of the series was able to tattoo the other person, because she carries around a tattoo gun (shrugs)."

The odds were stacked against him from the outset, as his team doesn't exactly have a positive record in this matchup. Hindsight being what it is, maybe he should've lowered the stakes.

"It was dumb. I mean I sort of neglected to remember that my team were at the end of like a seven-year losing streak. I'm a gambling man, so I'm inked now."

The custom tattoo is located on his wrist, where Robbie inked a small QLD. Conan doesn't seem too impressed, but it was nice of her not to put some giant sized text there as a constant reminder. You can watch the entire conversation in the clip above.

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

Suicide Squad is direct by David Ayer and stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne.

Suicide Squad hits Digital HD today and will land on Blu-ray December 13.
