It's official! Joss Whedon will be getting another line on his resume thanks to Justice League. Thanks to an announcement by Warner Bros., fans just learned the director will get a writing credit on the much-anticipated movie.

The studio's announcement came in its Fall Movie Preview. Warner Bros. listed Whedon as one of the film's writers alongside Chris Terrio. You can check out the film's official credits below:

Director: Zack Snyder

Writers: Story by Chris Terrio & Zack Snyder, Screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon

Based on characters from DC Entertainment, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster

Producers: Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns

Executive Producers: Jim Rowe, Wesley Coller, Curtis Kanemoto, Chris Terrio, Ben Affleck

Cast: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Raymond Fisher, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller

So far, there is no word on whether Whedon will be eligible to get a directing credit on Justice League. Fans first learned the filmmaker was brought on to the movie earlier this year. Director Zack Snyder announced he was stepping away from the project in light of a family tragedy, leaving the film without a director to oversee its post-production. Whedon was brought on to see the film through, and Justice League is still working through a set of extensive reshoots abroad.

Once Justice League's settles on its final cut, fans will learn whether Whedon did enough work on the project as a director to get a co-director credit. Warner Bros. executives have said previously that Whedon's reshoots are all coming under Snyder's orders, but some skeptical fans believe the Avengers director has more influence over the project than they've been led to believe.
