Ben Affleck's SDCC Undercover Disguise Revealed

Batman might be known for hiding amongst the shadows, but Ben Affleck proved to be good at keeping a low profile at last month's San Diego Comic-Con.

The actor - who is set to reprise his role as Batman in Justice League - was seen walking the convention floor in a rather creative disguise. Affleck wore a t-shirt of Sesame Street character Oscar the Grouch, as well as a slightly-unsettling plastic mask. Instagram user stango2mu reportedly saw Affleck put on the mask, and shared a video of him walking through the convention floor.

The disguise isn't super complex - especially compared to that worn by Star Wars and Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o - but it seems to have done a good job at hiding Affleck's appearance on the con floor. But between the actor's massive stature and the security team flanking him, Affleck can only blend in so much.

Affleck's appearance at SDCC was certainly a noteworthy one, as it was preempted by rumors that he would be leaving the franchise. To the delight of many fans, Affleck was quick to shoot down the rumors during Justice League's panel at the event.

Justice League currently enjoys a 4.19 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, and you can submit your vote here. The official description is included below.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
