Justice League Viral Site Lets Fans Join the Team

Although Justice League doesn't debut until November of this year, Warner Bros. and DC have released a whole slew of promotional material for the film. And in anticipation of Saturday's trailer release, a new website has been unveiled, which helps fans show off their love for the film's team.

The website UniteTheLeague.com was unveiled on Thursday, after the first character teaser was released online. The "Join" section of the website allows fans to upload a photo of themselves, and adorn the photo with the insignia of their favorite Justice League member.

Interestingly, the landing page for the website shows six boxes of insignia to choose from, with the sixth block currently being blank. The leading theory is that this final box is for Superman, and that his emblem will be available on the website after he appears in the film's official trailer.

Given the fact that Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill) has been presumed dead since the release of Batman v. Superman, it makes sense that his initial reveal in the film would be saved for the trailer instead of the character teaser videos that his teammates received. This was echoed by a tweet from BatmanNews.com, who discovered a photo of Superman while browsing the website's source code.

UniteTheLeague appears to be experiencing some high traffic right now, so don't freak out if your profile image takes a few tries to load properly. But if you're looking to pass the time until the Justice League trailer drops tomorrow, be sure to check it out.

Justice League will hit theaters November 17.
