The LEGO Batman Movie Wins President's Day Box Office

The LEGO Batman Movie is dominating the box office over a relatively weak President's Day weekend.

The LEGO Batman Movie earned $32.1 million from Friday-Sunday, and is expected to bring its weekend total up to $41.9 million on the holiday Monday. The holiday weekend take will bring The LEGO Batman Movie's box office total to $106.4 million.

Fifty Shades Darker lands in second place with an expected $23.9 million holiday weekend take. Matt Damon's The Great Wall opens in third place, with just $19.7 million over four days, and John Wick: Chapter 2 comes in fourth in its second weekend with $17.8 million over the long weekend, and $60 million total since release. Split continues its stellar box office run by earning another $8.5 million, bringing its total to $125 million, but horror opener A Cure For Wellness slides in at 11th, earning just $4.7 million over four days.

Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey, Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him - as well as everyone around him - as the walls between his compartments shatter apart.
