New Arrowverse Trailer Teases A Flash/Legends Crossover

A new teaser trailer for The CW's DC Universe shows seemingly shows The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow sharing a mini-crossover at some point early in the season.
The teaser, which blends footage from last season with new scenes from each of the four DC/CW shows (Supergirl, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow), brings Barry Allen and Iris West face to face in a strange, dreamlike sequence that might be real or just a figment of the Speed Force...but beyond that, we get a sense for what that other Flash, Wally West, might be up to once Barry is back in the saddle.
In a short scene, Kid Flash and Citizen Steel are hanging out after a fight, with Nick Zano's Nate complaining to Wally that the speedster failed to leave him any bad guys to fight.
How exactly this might work, considering that the Legends have a wildly messed up timeline to deal with on their own show and that will presumably not leak over into The Flash, is anybody's guess, but along with the earlier announcement that Felicity Smoak will be coming to The Flash for a mini-crossover, it looks like The CW is going to have its DC shows be a bit of a tighter, more interconnected universe this season.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow will debut its new season on October 10, although a special broadcast premiere of Vixen, the CW Seed's animated series that will tie Mari McCabe's appearance on Arrow to the role her ancestor plays on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, will air next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
The Flash will premiere on October 10 as well, at 8 p.m. Legends of Tomorrow will follow at 9.
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry's life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash. But when Barry used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother's life, he inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint; a phenomenon that gave birth to the villainous speed god known as Savitar, and changed the lives of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Wally West (Keiyan Lonsdale) forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), his lifelong best friend and love interest Iris West (Candice Patton), and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs — Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), C.S.I Julian Albert (TomFelton), and an Earth-19 novelist named H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) — Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it.
