Powerless Episode 3: DC's The Olympian Appears In Sinking Day Promo

It's rare for a show to have its second episode outperform its series premiere, and Powerless was not an exception. The ratings for NBC's new half-hour sitcom, set in the DC Comics universe, pulled in 2.5 million total viewers on Thursday — which was a 19 percent drop from the following week.

Perhaps, the show will be able to retain more viewers by bringing in The Olympian (a.k.a. Achilles Warkiller), the Gargarean counterpart to Wonder Woman. You can get a glimpse of him in the sneak preview (video above) for next week's "Sinking Day" episode.

VAN'S INCOMPETENCE PUTS EMILY IN A TOUGH SPOT - When the team loses a client due to Van's (Alan Tudyk) incompetence, Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) seeks to clinch a deal with the people of Atlantis. Because of his massive screw up, Van's father (guest star Corbin Bernsen) takes notice and sets him on a patch to redeem himself. Meanwhile, new employee Alex (guest star Matthew Atkinson) starts at the office and Teddy (Danny Pudi) and Ron (Ron Funches) are convinced he is a superhero.
