Two of the most anticipated characters from Warner Bros. upcoming Suicide Squad are of course Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's Joker. Now we have our first look at Bandai's S.H. Figuarts renditions of the pair.

While both figures sport quality sculpts (via The FWOOSH), the rendition of Robbie's Harley Quinn is just phenomenal. It's accuracy that I would expect from a statue and not necessarily an ultra articulated figure. The face is about as perfect as you can get, and all the little details and textures on the shirt, jacket, and stockings really take things up a notch. Typically S.H.Figuarts figures come with multiple accessories, but the only one seen in the pictures so far has been her baseball bat. Hopefully, they include a mallet, just for fun.

Joker looks quite good himself overall, but his likeness isn't as dead-on as Harley's, and while her's could be mistaken for a statue, his is definitely more in line with an action figure. That isn't a bad thing really, it just pales in comparison to Harley.

If this is the bar they've set for themselves, I'm eager to see what some of the other crew members of the Suicide Squad will look like. Figures like Katana, Captain Boomerang, and Enchantress could look stellar if the same level of care is given to them as was Harley and Joker. Hopefully, we'll see more of the line soon, but in the meantime check out the gallery for more pics of Harley and Joker.
