Sideshow Unveils Batman And Catwoman Art Print

The DC Comics universe is home to plenty of iconic romantic relationships, including Batman and Catwoman. The on-again/off-again relationship between vigilante Bruce Wayne and criminal/occasional hero Selina Kyle has existed for almost as long as Batman comics have been released, and have accumulated many fans in the years since.

If you happen to be one of those fans, a new art piece from SideShow Collectibles would be right up your alley. The company recently released the first look at the Batman and Catwoman print, which is part of their Premium Art Print line.

The 18x24 print, which is currently available for preorder, shows the two characters standing back-to-back from each other, with Wayne Enterprises and the rest of the Gotham skyline in the distance.

The company's press release for the print is as follows:

"Sideshow is proud to present Batman & Catwoman by Alex Pascenko joining our officially licensed Premium Art Print collection. Intrigue, excitement, animal attraction – the only thing missing from Batman and Catwoman's relationship is trust. Although Bruce and Selena like to keep each other close, standing side-by-side doesn't always mean they're on the same one."

The art itself was created by Alex Pascenko, and features his signature at the bottom of the print, as well as an embossed seal of authenticity. The print itself will only have 300 copies made, so hardcore fans of of the characters should act fast to make sure they can score one.

Sideshow has become known for making high-end merchandise related to DC properties. The most popular products are their sixth-scale figures, which features characters from across DC Comics, the DCEU, and other DC-related films. This isn't the company's first product related to the Batman/Catwoman relationship, as they also carry art prints celebrating versions of the characters from the 1960s Batman television series, as well as Batman Returns.

The print itself retails for $90, while a custom framed version will cost $250. There is no set release date, but the website says it should ship between March and May of this year.
