Suicide Squad Behind-The-Scenes Photo Gives Better Look At The Flash

When it comes to DC Films, there are few projects as hyped as the Justice League film. Later this year, the ensemble flick will hit theaters and gives moviegoers a look into how the most popular superhero squad in geekdom got its start. Heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman will team up with Cyborg and more as they work to keep the planet safe. And, of course, Barry Allen will be present and suited up as the Flash. And, to give fans a taste of the hero, the speedster was brought to the big screen in one of last year's blockbusters.

When Suicide Squad debuted, the film briefly featured the Flash thanks to some crafty CG skills and schedule planning. Ezra Miller had a small cameo where his character apprehended Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang, and the clip went by even faster than the Flash could see. Now, a behind-the-scenes photo from Suicide Squad has resurfaced on the Internet, and it has fans ogling over Miller's hi-tech suit.

First published by CineFix, the photo is making its way around Instagram and Reddit thanks to one keen fan. The image shows Miller dressed in the Flash's tight costume, and it gives fans a head-to-toe look at the hero's costume. Decked in red and yellow, the paneled costume looks more rugged than its comic book counterpart, and Miller's sleek physique fills out its silhoutte nicely.

Of course, fans have also noted the behind-the-scenes picture shows a massive green screen. Audiences were told after Suicide Squad premiered that the cameo was done in post-production under the watch of Zack Snyder who's helming Justice League. Even Courtney didn't know his character would be coming face-to-face with the Flash in the movie.

"I didn't know he was in the movie until I saw the movie! True!" Courtney told Comicbook.com during an interview in New York. "It's funny, because I look back on it and think, 'ya f***in' moron, of course that's what was happening!' But even shooting that [scene], it didn't occur to me. It wasn't so prescriptive in the script. That was a little gem they were keeping, and rightly so, I understand why they'd want to protect that."

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The DCEU continues when Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League 2 on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern Corps on July 24, 2020. The Flash, The Batman, Dark Universe and Man of Steel 2 are currently without release dates.
